Helston Hal-an-Tow



Helston Flora Day, 8 May 2008. The Hal-an-Tow begins early with the collection of sycamore branches. At 8.30 am the participants return adorned with the greenery and other costumes to dance, sing, and perform their play around the town, finishing about an hour later.

    I’m from Dover Delaware and I plan on dancing through the streets and homes of Dover on May 8th in celebration of Furry Day 2010. It wont be the same as in Helston, but at least I’ll have fun.
